Warranty and Refund Policy

At General Mountain Gear, we’re committed to quality and customer satisfaction. Below you’ll find information about our product warranty and our hassle-free return policy.

1. Warranty Information

We offer a 1-Year Manufacturer Warranty on select items, specifically on dry tops and dry suits. This warranty covers any manufacturing defects under normal use. If a product defect is identified, we’ll replace the item at no extra charge. Please note, we don’t offer repair services under this warranty; items eligible for replacement only.

2. Return Policy

We accept returns within 30 days of purchase under the following conditions:

  • The item must be unused and not have been in water.
  • Items should be in their original packaging, with tags attached.

Sub-Clause:

Gift purchases can be returned within 45 days with proof of a gift receipt.

Return Process

  1. Contact us at support@generalmountaingear.com with your order number and reason for the return.
  2. If eligible, we will provide return instructions and may offer a pre-paid return label.
  3. Returns may be subject to shipping fees, which will be deducted from the refund total if a pre-paid label is used.

Refunds

Upon receiving your returned item, we’ll inspect it to ensure it meets our return criteria. Refunds are processed within 3-5 business days after the item passes inspection. Please allow up to 7 business days for the refund to reflect in your account, depending on your bank.
